WELCOME FROM OUR HEADTEACHER

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, it gives me great pleasure in welcoming you to St. Matthew’s (Little Lever).

I feel very privileged to be the Headteacher of a school where everyone feels welcomed, respected and valued. A place where we all come together each day to flourish and thrive together. Our Christian vision underpins this and is lived out throughout the school in all that we do. As a result, pupils and adults flourish nurtured in love, motivated to learn and enabled to grow.

I hope our website gives you a sense of what our school has to offer, but you would be very welcome to come and look round and see for yourself.  In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries, concerns or there is anything I can do to help and support you with your child’s learning and school life.

We are very proud that St. Matthew’s is a church school. In December 2023, we had our SIAMS inspection and we are delighted with the result. The inspection findings indicate that our school is living up to its foundation as a Church school, and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.
